Albert Wolff Chambers
Albert Wolff Chambers were established in 2003 when Tom Percy QC and Mark Trowell QC decided to set up a set of dedicated Criminal Law Chambers members of which have the option of purchasing their own Chambers. Those members who choose not to purchase their own chambers lease from members who own more Chambers space then they used for their own purposes.
The Chambers are situated at 33 Barrack Street, Perth. Percy QC and Trowell QC purchased the entire 7th Floor and were joined on that floor by Belinda Lonsdale, Simon Freitag and Simon Watters.
Jon Davies, Graham Droppert and Cindy Hogan subsequently purchased Chambers on the 4th floor and Richard McCormack purchased the 2nd floor. This led to a diversication of practice in the Chambers: the mainly criminal practice on the 7th floor has been augmented by other areas of practice on the other floors.
The Chambers are named after Sir Albert Wolff, Chief Justice of Western Australia between 1959 and 1969 and a Judge of the Supreme Court between 1938 and 1969.
