Kathryn was admitted to practice in 2012 after completing a Master of Laws at University College London with a focus on human rights. Kathryn commenced practice in 2012 at Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre and interned with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in 2013. Kathryn was the principal solicitor of the Family Violence Prevention Legal Service in Albany before entering private practice in 2015. In 2016, Kathryn practiced as a solicitor in London working primarily in the area of child protection, before returning to Australia and practicing exclusively in criminal law.
With a focus on criminal law, Kathryn joined chambers in 2018. She has acted as counsel in a number of complex trials in the Supreme, District, Magistrates and Family Courts of Western Australia. Kathryn has also acted as junior counsel in a number of homicide trials.
Kathryn is a member of Legal Aid’s serious Indictable, Magistrates Court and other Indictable and Children’s Court panels.
