Tamasin practises in all areas of commercial law with a particular focus on:
- Corporations Act disputes including directors duties and minority shareholder disputes;
- Contractual disputes (including distributorship agreements, share sale agreements, real estate contracts, leases, partnership agreements);
- Civil fraud; and
- Regulatory matters, specialising in consumer and competition law with experience in investigations and associated litigation conducted by the ACCC, ASIC, ICAC and APRA. Tamasin is also a member of the Competition and Consumer Committee of the Law Council of Australia, Business Law Section.
Before joining the Bar, Tamasin was a solicitor in private practice at Norton Rose Fulbright (Perth) and before that at Henry Davis York (Sydney). Tamasin also worked in London in the House of Commons advising on Brexit and managing an investigation into the United Kingdom’s involvement in the extraordinary rendition regime run by the CIA during the war on terror.
