Terry has trial experience in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the District Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Magistrates Court of Western Australia.
In the 34 years before being called to the Bar, Terry spent 22 years in private practice over half of which was as a partner of Phillips Fox and his own boutique insurance litigation firm. Prior to admission as a solicitor, Terry worked for 7 years in the insurance industry managing public liability and professional liability disputes throughout Australia and 5 years as an articled law clerk at Phillips Fox.
