Lauree Coci
Lauree Coci is available to appear and advise in all commercial litigation matters. She has particular expertise in contractual, property, consumer law and corporations law disputes. Lauree’s practice also includes advising corporates and individuals in connection with corruption and financial crime, and emerging business and human rights risks.
Lauree has significant experience in the conduct of high value, complex, commercial litigation disputes in superior courts in Western Australia and Victoria. Lauree also has experience in representing clients in Royal Commissions. Irrespective of the size of the matter, Lauree delivers commercial legal advice that is strategic and comprehensive, but practical.
Prior to joining the Bar, Lauree was a Senior Associate in the disputes team of Clayton Utz in Perth. Lauree was also a solicitor at the State Solicitor’s Office. She has tutored and been a guest lecturer of the Civil Procedure unit at the University of Western Australia.
Lauree has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia, with a prize in Consumer Law; and a Master of Law degree from Melbourne University. In 2018, Lauree was named Senior Associate of the Year and Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year by Lawyers Weekly.
