David Monaghan

David Monaghan has spent his career in the family law jurisdiction. Admitted in 1989, David was a family law practitioner (accredited in 1994) from 1989 until 1995 at which time he was appointed as a family law magistrate of WA and continued in that office until 2017. David was the Principal Registrar of the Family Court of WA from 2005 – 2017.

Since 2017 David has joined the WA Bar and become a nationally accredited mediator.

David is not currently accepting instructions to appear in Court. David provides opinions, advice on case plans, early neutral evaluations and strategic advice in all areas of family law.

David has a significant mediation practice.
