Benjamin Tomasi

Ben Tomasi practices in both commercial and public law.

Ben has appeared in most courts and tribunals in Western Australia, including the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts, the Federal Court, and the State Administrative Tribunal, and as junior counsel in the High Court of Australia.

Ben is experienced in high value, complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Ben’s broad experience has included contractual disputes, regulatory prosecutions, judicial review, statutory interpretation, and native title matters.

Prior to joining the Bar, Ben worked as a solicitor in the litigation and arbitration team at Norton Rose Fulbright and at the State Solicitor’s Office. He was Associate to the Hon. Chief Justice Kiefel of the High Court of Australia, and has lectured and tutored in constitutional law and jurisprudence.
