Anne-Marie Wholley
Anne-Marie Wholley is an experienced commercial litigator with extensive experience in international and domestic arbitration, in Australia and abroad.
Anne-Marie has acted in a number of high profile, large scale disputes in Australia arising in the oil & gas industry, mining, as well as the construction industry. She recently has acted in domestic and international arbitrations arising from Australian infrastructure projects administered by institutions such as ICC, UNCITRAL and SIAC.
Anne-Marie has previously practiced in the UK where she advised on a range of insurance matters and reinsurance matters, acting for Lloyds of London market insurers in domestic and international insurance litigation in the areas of professional indemnity, D&O, financial institutions, and catastrophic claims.
Immediately prior to joining the Bar, Anne-Marie was a Special Counsel at Clyde & Co in the Construction & Projects (International Arbitration) team. Prior to that time, Anne-Marie was a Senior Associate at Norton Rose (Perth) and practiced in the Construction and Major Projects team at Allens (Melbourne).
A graduate from the University of Western Australia, she holds Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (double major in Pathology & Pharmacology).
