Ben Willesee

Ben practices in commercial litigation and arbitration. He has acted for clients in disputes in State and Federal courts, administrative tribunals, international and domestic arbitrations as well as a range of alternative dispute resolution procedures.

Ben has a broad commercial practice with particular experience in high value, complex disputes arising out of the energy, resources, transport and infrastructure sectors. Ben is known for his strong commercial focus and ability to provide clear advice.

Prior to joining the Bar, Ben was a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution team of Ashurst in Perth and London. He had previously been Associate to the Hon Justice Pritchard at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Ben graduated from the University of Western Australia with degrees in Arts and Law and following graduation has tutored in Corporations Law at the university.
