Shirley Casey

Shirley is a dedicated barrister with a specialisation in criminal law. Her unwavering commitment to criminal law has been her focus since she was admitted to practice.

Having previously served as a senior associate at a prominent national law firm, Shirley transitioned to a boutique criminal law practice in 2019 before being called to the bar in 2022. Shirley’s journey has endowed her with extensive experience, and she relentlessly champions the rights of her clients.

Shirley’s remarkable ability to maintain clarity under the scrutiny of the Court, coupled with her knack of simplifying intricate legal matters for her clients, sets her apart.

Shirley’s passion lies in advocacy, and she has represented clients all over the State both in Magistrate Courts and District Court jury trials; and more recently, the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeal.
