Sharon Kermath

Ms Kermath is a highly experienced and busy Barrister for almost 20 years practicing principally in Children’s Law, Civil, Criminal Law, Family Violence, Family Law and Tribunal work. She advises and appears on behalf of thousands of clients throughout Victoria and Australia in all jurisdictions including the Magistrates’ Court, Children’s Court, Coroner Court, County Court, Supreme Court, Civil and Administrative Tribunals and Boards. She has considerable experience in the management of her large caseloads and appears in court on a daily basis and maintains the best representation results due to her exceptional work ethic.

Ms Kermath is the finalist of the Barrister of the Year in the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards in 2020.  She was also the finalist in Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards in 2019 for the category of Barrister of the Year. Ms Kermath is also a Barrister of the Year Finalist for 2020 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards. She was the finalist for Barrister of the Year in 2019 and 2018 in the Women in Law Awards.  This is an outstanding achievement for her skills and the respect she has gained from her clients and her peers.
